ShararaTech is a transmedia story unfolding across multiple platforms starting virtually here then going back to nature, a desert canvas, as a reference point then hopefully translating in different walks of life.
Be part of it: Submit a proposal for a creation through ShararaTech Challenge or support the circularity of creativity and emergence in one of the three ways described below. In any of these events, you shall be shaping yourself a life of many lives as postulated by Pablo Neruda and defined by Amal Alayan (MIT Press 2013) the co-founder of this fesival: The life of an entrepoet is a “life put together from all those lives” ---- lives of yet more entrepoets who may emerge to gracefully manifest life’s cycles of self-creation and self-renewal that the autopoietic lens depicts.

The ShararaTech Jury shall be selecting up to ten art-tech installations based on the theme and criteria described under ShararaTech Challenge. For each and every selected participation we welcome sponsorship on Peer to Peer basis. While there will be no room for corporate sponsorship banners within the desert canvas where the event will take place, Peer Sponsors will be acknowledged in every marketing material of ShararaTech (e.g. names/logos of Peer Sponsors shall be included in this website and in posters of ShararaTech Art & Science Mediterranean Festival). Furthermore their acknowledgment will be included in any mention of the respective sponsored selection in related professional publications. In certain cases where selections may reflect innovative commercializable solutions, the right-of-first-refusal for investing can be negotiated with the respective selection should this be of mutual interest to the creative and the prospective sponsor. The lead sponsors of the first prize are PalTel Group and UNDP.
